Installing Kilmat and Framing a ProMaster 3500: Van Build Part 2-The Interior
A bit different type of content than the usual polished video. I bought a RAM Promaster 3500 with the plans of building a modular camera and lighting 1-2 ton package. This is the second video of the series where I'll be installing kilmat to help deaden the van noise and framing the inside of the van. Did you seal the wood after you stained or after it was on the wall?

thinking of getting a anamorphic lens for my iphone15 and shoot vertical for social media posting. Will it work on a phone , like it does in your expensive and cool gear you got there ?
Yes, it works great! I've tested it with a BeastGrip cage and lens, as well as with Moment's cases and lense.
I shoot vertical anamorphic on a 3x2 sensor open gate, the amamorphic lens is rotated 90 degrees, the camera horizontal, the flares are vertical, the bokeh horizontal. With a 1.5 squeeze the final image is square. I use a Acsoon Seemo 4k monitor/iphone. It can rotate the horizontal image vertical, desqueezed. “The Grand Budapest Hotel” was shot in vertical anamorphic for the 1.37-1 aspect ratio footage.
Wow! Is there any other example of this one like vertical flares are more visible
Is it only Atlas that can do this? Can other anamorphic lenses stay upright while the camera flips on it's side?
Following these same techniques, any lens can do this- as long as it’s PL mount

i'd use dabs of liquid nail along with the finish nails
Honestly i did that for the first two rows , but it took a lot more time and tbh I got lazy and just skipped it. Definitely made it more secure having liquid nail/ PL premium.

I’ve tried this with my Atlas Mercury and on the S5iiX and no matter what I do I can not get the image square … it just looks like a super long rectangle. How are you getting the image to be a square on your monitor??

Did you have any vignetting using the Atlas Orions on your fx6? Or did you shoot s35 on the fx6?
on the wider focal lengths on the Orions we did see vignetting in FF; we just embraced it/punched a bit past it (depending on the shoot)

I have an old 702 and a 702 touch and with updated firmware it works. I assume all the new monitors will work as well.
Trying to do this with my cine7 no luck on custom desqueeze. Do you know if 503 or 703 work too?
@@joshexell have you updated the firmware on your Cine7? I've tried this on a bodies Cine7 Arri and we needed an updated. Ive done it on a 702 touch and 702 bright (again needed updates to firmware); cheers

I never watched one video or tutorial in my life that was accurate. The NEW ITEM option simply does NOT exist on the bottom where it is depicted. Ironically, if it did exist, I wouldn't need help using it since it's so obvious to use but very hard to use when it doesn't exist.

Pre-Production: Scheduling, budget, casting, script, etc. Production: finding locations, lighting, set-design, sound, camera lenses used during different scenes , total time to shoot Post-Production:Time to edit, decisions made in the edit, sound design, color grading. This was an amazingly done short film.
HEY! Did you shoot open gate and de-squeeze in an external monitor? There's no way to de-squeeze 1.5x anamorphic in the Alexa 35 is there? Just 2x anamorphic?

Nice rig! Did you have to change a setting on the Komodo to “enable” vertical shooting?
Nothing to enable in camera, just rotated the monitor and did the rotation in post.
